JessQ started her career in the healthcare field as a medical tech in the New York Metro area, where she was devoted to caring for patients at Meadowlands Hospital, which is now Hudson Regional Hospital, and later at Columbus LTACH Hospital, where patients had serious and complex conditions. It was fulfilling to be able to help patients and relieve them of any pain and discomfort they may have been experiencing. Seeing patients go from being ill to being cheerful was a rewarding experience.

All along, she had also been in the beauty industry, creating nail art and shaping and waxing eyebrows. In fact, she was so good at it that it was how she was able to pay for college and earn a bachelor’s degree in Public Health from Kean University in Union, NJ. With a passion for beauty and the desire to make people feel beautiful, inside and out, her calling was to become a permanent makeup (PMU) artist. She was inspired by how a permanent makeup treatment could bring new confidence to her clients, just like how her patients became cheerful under her care.

She loves her job because of the positive effect she can bring, helping to brighten up her clients’ day—and even their lives—by doing a fantastic job with something she is passionate about and truly excels at. She has found that permanent makeup not only helps women save precious time, but also allows her to help boost their morale and confidence, helping them feel great about themselves.

She is well-versed in the current beauty trend of creating a natural-looking, full yet subtle, sophisticated appearance. She is also skillful, versatile, and proficient enough to create a more exaggerated or even dramatic look, should it be desired. She takes the time to work with you in all areas of permanent makeup application.
