Eyebrow Microblading

Microblading is a solution to having beautifully natural, fuller eyebrows no matter how the eyebrow situation is. Hollywood is trending with a return to a more natural-looking, yet more subtly arched eyebrows, and microblading is becoming mainstream. Stars such as Gwyneth Paltrow, Minka Kelly, Mandy Moore, Julia Roberts, Angelina Jolie, Serena Williams, Bella Thorne, Jennifer Aniston, and many others have all got their eyebrows microbladed.
Unlike the old days of permanent eyebrows tattoos with harsh-looking, chunky blocks of ink, JessQ is one of the earliest wave of new artists with unparalleled credentials, providing advanced techniques for the most natural and hyper-realistic look. Microblading is semi-permanent, meaning it lasts between 1 to 3 years, depending on each individual (e.g. skin type, thickness, depth of color chosen, lifestyle, etc). It is great that microblading does not last forever so you could change the way your brows look as your facial features evolve and as eyebrow style changes.
Microblading Treatment
Microblading uses a sterilized, disposable hand-held microblade pen to manually draw in crisp, fine strokes, line by line that mimic natural hairs. The feather strokes deposit pigments underneath the epidermis (top) layer of the skin. The method gracefully fills hair-like lines into any gaps and enhances the shape, arch, thickness, and definition for a natural, balanced, relaxed appearance. Microblading lasts on average between one to three years and is best suited for normal to dry skin types.
Nano-hairstroke Treatment
Also known as nanobrow, or nanoblading, his advanced technique, an advanced version of microblading, gracefully draws in fine hair strokes with a delicate digital pen instrument for a natural and hyper-realist look. Like microblading, it draws in crisp, fine, feathering strokes, line by line, that mimic natural hairs. However, it uses a digital pen instrument with a nano needle, rather than a microblade pen. The nanoneedle is extremely fine, allowing for greater precision in creating realistic hair strokes that blend seamlessly with existing eyebrow hair. The result is crisper, finer hair strokes that heal quicker and have longer-lasting color retention. Nanoblading is great for anyone and is recommended for clients with oily skin types. Also, it is the better choice if you’re looking for brows that will last longer, typically, up to two, three years, or longer.
Microshading Treatment (Powder Brow)
Microshading uses a delicate digital pen instrument and gently shades, infusing tiny dots of pigments, gradually building up color and shape. This technique is a more traditional method and lasts longer than microblading as the pigment is slightly deeper in the skin, resulting in a more defined, solid look than microblading hair strokes. It is often recommended in combination with microblading for the best appearance.
Ombre Powder Treatment (Graduated Shading)
This technique is a variation of microshading and differs from microblading in that it creates a powdery-filled brow similar to the look of makeup, as opposed to simulated hair. Inspired by the hairstyle, this treatment is a new specialized shading technique where the color will graduate from light at the front and darker at the tail, giving the perfect Ombre makeup effect. Ombre brows can be for anyone, those who already have fuller-looking brows, or those with very sparse eyebrows. Oftentimes, it is recommended in combination with microblading for the best look.
Touch-ups
A one month touch-up, not required but may be recommended, is to darken color, or to fill in gaps to refresh your eyebrows. We do not build in the charge for touch-up into our original treatment pricing so that clients have the option to choose whether or not they would like to get a touch-up. Each client will walk away from the original treatment feeling satisfied with the result. However, each individual heals differently during the healing process. Some clients may have some lines faded during the healing process and feel necessary to come back in to make it as perfect as possible. Other clients may feel a touch-up is not needed and, therefore, our pricing helps clients to avoid this cost if possible.
The Process
The process starts by understanding your preferences and desired eyebrow features. Master JessQ will work with you on customizing your eyebrow color and the best arch and thickness for your face. The desired shape that suits your features is then drawn by outlining, in addition to precise measurement of your eyebrow symmetry. Effective topical numbing cream is applied and allowed to set for approximately 20 minutes. The treatment begins by using the permanent makeup technique to create natural brush strokes of your eyebrows. Microblading is done strand by strand as an intricate art, to say the least, and requires artistry, precision, and detail. It takes approximately 2 hours to complete and will take about a week to heal. After-care instructions will be provided. The enhanced eyebrows will last an average of 2 years.

Prices are non-negotiable and are subject to change. 1-month touch-up is optional and must be booked and done within 7 weeks from the original service date. 1-year touch-up pricing must be done within 15 months from the original service date. All touch-up pricings are for returning clients only. All services are non-refundable.
Service fees are for clients who have NOT gotten service done at another place before. Any pre-existing permanent makeup done elsewhere must be evaluated first.
